Unique vintage Shapes of Clay decorative plaque created by Washington artist Stan Langtwait. Made with ash from Mount St. Helens, this unusual piece features a detailed steam locomotive marked with the number 9, accented in black and muted brown.

The approximately 7-by-7-inch plaque has a rugged, rock-like shape with a dramatic crackled surface and includes its coordinating sculpted display base. A hanging opening on the back offers another display option. Signed “Stan” and retains the original Shapes of Clay label from Graham, Washington.
